Waiting For Wonders is an original pleinair painting on canvas. It was created on location in Garda.
The sudden change of weather intensified the drama of the sky with the sun making it's way through the clouds.
Will it open up, will it rain? It seemed like these questions hung in the air, making me want to paint in very energetic brushstrokes, rapidly covering the canvas and wanting to keep the dynamic of the moment.
