Hoffnung und Zuversicht. Enchanted Light Trail.

ENGLISH

This artwork was inspired by my daily walk - i go on this trail around the area where i live in Tirol almost every day. The scene is so familiar, but the light is  always different framed by the strong trees.

I paint each painting “alla prima” in one single sitting whatever the size of the canvas. This enables me to capture the atmosphere, the momentary and transient effects of sunlight. This forces me to paint quickly with lively and spontaneous brushstrokes that lend my paintings a sense of movement.
