In the Olive Grove

I have been painting trees all year long- trees in different seasons, in different locations.
During my vacation in Italy I payed even more attention to the trees there- eucalyptus, cypresses and silver leaved olive trees.

This line captures exactly what inspired me : the quiet, ancient energy of the olive-filled landscape, the profound beauty that I sought to capture on site—right there in Liguria. The grove, the farmhouse, the tradition: they hold stories older than us, and painting them in the place where they live turns the artwork into a memory that carries that spirit.
